Global Forum: The Healthcare Worker Shortage Crisis

Description: People are dying unnecessarily due to the shortage of healthcare workers to meet treatment needs. In sub-Saharan Africa, a mere 3% of the world's health workers struggle against all odds to treat 14% of the world's population and combat 24% of the global disease burden. This forum will explore the policies and next steps needed to meet global needs through 2 workshops facilitated by Health GAP with a presentation to follow by Partners In Health.

Global Forum: Women & HIV

Description: Through open discussion and interactive sessions, this summit will improve prevention skills and create more integrated prevention efforts in Philadelphia. This year's focus areas include prevention research, faith-based initiatives, out-of-care interventions, up-to-date policy discussions, youth prevention methods, and this summit's brand new women's tract! This summit provides a venue for all frontline workers, HIV/AIDS providers, and consumers to build HIV prevention skills and share strategies in improving prevention efforts in Philadelphia.
