Safety Counts
October 27, 2008

Safety Counts is a harm reduction program for people who are actively using drugs. We address safer drug use and safer sexual behavior in a real and positive manner. The program is a short-term intervention but includes the following sessions for people enrolled:

1 Program Enrollment Session where we do an individual risk reduction interview and goals

2 Group Sessions in which we talk about HIV & Hep C, behavior change and learn from others

2 Individual Sessions with one-on-one risk counseling around your personal goals

2 Social Events! They happen once a month for all current and former participants to build social supports, play risk reduction games and share a meal. Door prizes also.

2 Follow Up Sessions to provide continued support towards lowering your substance use and sexual health risks.

Gift certificates and tokens are provided after each session attended. Join us for a Group Session every Monday from 3-5 pm on the 2nd floor of Philadelphia FIGHT at 1233 Locust Street.

If you are interested or would like more information, contact Leah Hilsey at 215-985-4448 ext 233 or come to the 5 th floor of 1233 Locust and ask for Leah.
